When I was 5 years old,my mom always told me that
happiness was the key to life.

When I went to school, they
asked me what I wanted to be
when I grew up.

I wrote down "Happy".
They told me I din't understand the assignment.
I told them that they din't understand life.

अकेले आ जाती है
दस्तक भी नहीं देती
पता भी नहीं बताती अपना
बस आ कर के लेट जाती है साथ
जैसे बिन बताये ही सिरहाना खिसक कर
बाँहों में आ जाये और बदन से लग कर
कहे की किसका इंतज़ार करते हो
टकटकी बांधे देखते हो अँधेरे में
सायों ओ आगोश में लेने की कोशिश करते हो
और यह नहीं सोचते की ये साए भी
मेरी वजह से ही हैं
